Bootstrap was started with a focus on connecting small family farms, that were previously unable to access the food supply chain, to meaningful market opportunities.
SUSTAINABILITY MEANS SUPPORTING LOCAL COMMUNITIES
In view of this, we use 100% Arabica coffee sourced only from family-run farms in the region, working closely with our farmers to ensure that only the very best is used in our brews.
Currently, we are working with over 30 family-run farms in the Kintamani region in Bali, committed to sustainable farming practices and our stringent quality measures thus enabling them to be connected to the global supply chain.
SUSTAINABILITY MEANS PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT
Bootstrap is also fully committed to playing its part in tackling the global issue of waste management. Working with our customers, we integrate sustainable recycling programs into their environment so that our beverages are consumed responsibly.
Beginning with the choice of using 100% recyclable glass bottles for all our products, to the implementation of a system for the collection and reusing of old bottles, we believe that it is the small steps lead to bigger waves. By doing this we hope to encourage the community around us to be mindful of our environment.
SUSTAINABILITY MEANS CREATING NEW OPPORTUNITIES
In Bali, we work with Stella's child to create life-changing opportunities for youth's transitioning from children's home and orphanages into the workforce. Our collaboration provides real-life business training opportunities for underprivileged youth, reinvestment in the local community, and to reinforce partners commitments to responsible tourism.
In Singapore, we have chosen to focus our efforts to re-integrate ex-offenders and marginalized groups under the Yellow Ribbon Project. Through work-therapy and meaningful placements in our company, we are in advanced discussions with our partner to develop a sustainable model moving forward.
