2 tablespoons coffee ground or a good quality instant coffee
1 cup fresh milk, warmed
11/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoon salted butter, melted, more for frying
1 large egg
How to make coffee pancakes: the steps
Follow these steps to make your final coffee pancake tasty.
- Combine ground coffee or instant coffee with warmed fresh milk. Set aside after filtering.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Make a well. Pour in cooled coffee and milk mixture, egg, and melted butter. Fold until just mixed. (Batter will later be thick and a little lumpy.)
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium low heat.
